What we collect
Only what's needed to make Billy useful: your email, the expenses you log, the categories you create, and minimal device info to keep the app stable. No location tracking unless you turn on travel mode — and only while it's on.
What we do with it
We use it to run the app for you. AI categorization happens on our servers because phones can't do it well yet — we send the line of text you typed, get the category back, and stop. We never sell your data and never use it to train third-party AI models.
How it's protected
Encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Your account is private to you. Our team can only access aggregated, anonymized data unless you write in for support and grant access.
Your controls
Export everything as CSV in one tap. Delete your account and all data, also one tap. Email hi@billypocket.com for anything else.
Cookies
This marketing site uses no third-party tracking cookies. The app uses session storage to keep you logged in.
Changes
We'll email you before any change that could affect your data. No fine-print surprises.
